LOCAL GOODS & SERVICES

pluckley farm shop

Our shop is situated between Pluckley and Smarden in the heart of the Garden of England. Pluckley is famous as a haunted village and also the location of the Darling Buds of May.

We are open 7 days a week and we have our own car park.

inside the shopWe are an independent store. We are not a supermarket, but we do aim to stock a range of everyday produce which are different to our other village shops. We focus on local goods and supporting local businesses. In season cherries, apples, plums and other soft fruits are available fresh from the local growers. In winter months we can provide all manner of root vegetables and barasics.

We offer:

  • A wide range of fresh fruit and vegetables;
  • Fresh locally baked bread every day;
  • Local dairy and meat;
  • Homemade pies, cakes and ready meals;
  • Cheeses and deli goods;
  • Locally made ice cream;
  • Local wines, beers and spirits;
  • Preserves, oils, cereals
  • .. ... and other fine foods from Kent and Sussex.

We do source foods from Covent Garden such as lemons and bananas as this trade has existed for years. Fair Trade goods are purchased and where possible organic produce. We need to provide a good range of produce to seduce you away from the supermarkets!
